Create your first project, write your first feature spec, and make your first architecture model change.
This Quickstart takes you from an empty workspace to a real, connected architecture artifact in three short steps. You will create a project, write the first specification for a feature, and make your first change to the architecture model from the Explore canvas.
It should take about 10 minutes. The goal is to learn the workflow end to end, not to document a full system.
The flow
Create your project
A project is the shared workspace that holds your model and your specs. You set a readable Name and a stable Key that becomes part of every URL.
Write your first feature spec
Add a specification page for one concrete feature, describe the decision in plain language, and embed a live model artifact so the spec stays linked to the architecture.
Make your first model change
Open Explore, switch to edit mode, and add or adjust an object in the architecture model. Explore is the fastest way to see the whole model and change its structure.
Keep each output small. A short, focused spec and a single model object are enough to validate the full loop. You can grow from there.
What you need before you start
- An account and access to an organization (or use a local workspace — see Setup).
- Editor permission or higher on the organization/project, otherwise creation buttons are hidden.
- Around 10 minutes.
If a button described in these pages is missing, you most likely have viewer access. Ask an org or project admin to grant you the editor role.
